We are receiving many complaints relating to inconsiderate parking at School pick ups and drop offs.

Pick up and drop off times are very busy outside schools.  This can cause an increased safety risk to both children and parents.

Yellow zig zag lines indicate the part of the road where motorists should not wait, stop or park a vehicle.

Parking on a pavement, means that pedestrians cannot pass, and are forced onto the road.  This is very dangerous during busy periods, especially those who use pushchairs and people with disabilities.

We patrol the many schools in this area, as much as possible, however the community need to take responsibility for their children's safety and be considerate when parking, doing it safely and legally.

Think before you park.
